Engine and transmission tuning for BMW
Software built by professional tuners, flashed to your car from your phone or laptop. Two ways to get it: a ready-made OTS map, or a custom tune made for your exact car.
OTS map from a tuner
Off-the-shelf tunes the tuners in our network sell for a range of cars, matched to yours by engine and chassis. You buy, the app prompts you with the update, you tap OK and it flashes — no tuning request, no waiting.
- Price
- Set by the tuner — $250–$325 / €150–€700 on sale today, plus the flashing licence
- Delivery
- Automatic, after payment
Custom tune
Nothing on the shelf, or specific goals? Buy the flashing licence, identify your car in the app, then open a tuning request with the tuner you choose — agree the job in chat and flash the file they deliver.
- Price
- Set by the tuner, agreed in the tuning request, plus the flashing licence
- Delivery
- The tuner sends the file to your account
Both need the flashing licence — €100 per side (engine or transmission), single VIN, one-time. Both sides include Quick Settings and return to stock; the engine licence also includes logging. Engine swaps, gearbox swaps and ISN resets are sold as automated solutions with the licence included.

Questions
- Do I need a licence to tune my own car?
- Yes — the flashing licence (€100 per side, engine or transmission) is tied to your VIN and unlocks both routes: OTS maps and custom tunes. Automated swap and reset solutions include the licence they need.
- What is the difference between an OTS map and a custom tune?
- An OTS map is a ready-made tune a tuner sells for a range of cars — you buy it and the app activates it on your VIN, no waiting. A custom tune is made for your exact car in a tuning request with the tuner you choose; the price is set by the tuner and agreed in chat.
- What do I need to flash?
- A supported OBD interface (ENET, ICOM and more) and the free 1769Flash app on your phone or laptop. Identifying the car and reading fault codes is free — you only pay to flash.
- Can I go back to stock?
- Yes — the flashing licence includes return to stock at any time.
