Without it
Sometimes the job needs the integration level moved — an ASW update because the software on the car is too old or unfamiliar to tune. Sometimes the calibration doesn't match the configuration you need: emissions standard, region, variant.
The usual answer is a detour through OEM dealer software — a separate tool, a separate workflow, and a hard stop if the car isn't physically with you.
With Alternative calibrations
The Alt-Cal add-on changes both the ASW and the calibration from a simple picker: choose the target, confirm, flash. The options come straight from our daily-updated database of OEM files.
It works from the Windows app locally and from the web portal remotely — so the car can reach the integration level you tune on before the work even begins.
Key features
ASW update — move the i-Level
Switch the module to a different compatible application software, up or down the i-Levels, grouped by bootloader — with the current and backup versions marked. A matching calibration resolves automatically; when there's a choice, you pick.
Calibration swap on the same ASW
Keep the installed software and swap only the calibration — the variant for the emissions standard, region or configuration the job needs.
A database that doesn't age
The ASW and calibration options come from a daily-updated database of OEM files — not a static file dump that drifts out of date.
Local and remote
Run it in the workshop from the Windows app, or set the target from the vehicle's page in the portal for a remote customer — the car arrives at your software before you start tuning.

How it works
Open it
ASW Update / Alt Calibration buttons on the vehicle's ECU panel in the portal, or Alt+click Read in the Windows app.
